Sunday mornings are crazy around our house. Our church is at 9:00 am, and it is always a challenge to get everyone ready (especially having to do two girls hair), and on time to church. We usually end up with a few tears, and the girls always seem to change their dresses two or three times. So, it feels like no matter what time we start getting ready, it is never enough time! And, to think that I have another little girl coming that will need her hair done, and I am sure will change her dress a few times is slightly overwhelming! Brandon never has understood the need to have the girls hair cute for church. I just feel like it is the ONE day that we can at least all look a little "put together"!
A couple of weeks ago we had church at 10:00 instead of 9:00. I couldn't believe what a difference it made to have an extra hour in the morning. We were all ready...including me...and even had time for a Sunday picture. Amazing! And, we were only 2 minutes lates for church. That is an accomplishment.
I wonder if we always had church at 10:00, would I feel the same way? I am sure we would fall into our crazy Sunday morning routine all over again!

We do better with church at 9:00 than later for some reason.
When we had it at 1:00, we were always late! I think it was because we dawdled for so long and then had to rush at the last minute.
10:00 would be perfect, I think...

If it makes you feel any better, andy and I have NO kids to get ready and still manage to be late week after week! So pathetic. You are doing great!

Our church is at 1:00 now and we are always on time. We are not morning people, so 9:00 church is not good for us.
I hate Sunday mornings. I hate the fight. It makes everyone in a bad mood!!! Then, we are supposed to be all happy at church after yelling at our kids. It isn't always that bad, but it is a lot. I made a new rule. No TV or games until you are ready. That has helped immensely!!!
Dan's parking lot on Ft. Union and Highland Dr. THE BEST!!! I don't know what it is, but the snow and the flavors are sooo good. We live in Riverton and drive up there sometimes twice a week. Go early, because the lines are so long the later in the evening it gets. Maybe we'll see you there!
9am is impossible (we go at 9 too). After Henry was up most of the night last night, I just bagged the 1st hour and got to church perfectly on time at 10! I think there is a difference! Your kids look so cute by the way!
The only time we've been on time in the last month was when Todd was out of town. Go figure.
they look so cute!! Church here is at 930 and is a struggle EVERY WEEK! In Japan it was at 1000 and was still a struggle....I think that no matter what time, someone will always lose a shoe, poop a diaper, or spill the cereal right in those last few critical minutes. It's a lost cause....
